Girls

Writtle Minors girls section started in 2001 and has increased each year.  We are now represented in the Essex County Girls League at Under 11 to Under 14 level and nearly 20% of our youngsters are now female

We aim to help our mini soccer girls make a smooth transition to girls only football by offering girls the chance to train in our girls only squads with friendlies being organised for our U10 girls.

From the Under 11 age group upwards we participate in the Essex County Girls League.  Offering girls only football from training initially, to friendlies at U10 and league football from U11 allows our mini soccer girls to gradually make the transition to girls only football.
